Biography
Andigoni Malousi was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. She graduated from the Informatics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th). She completed her MSc studies in Medical Informatics and PhD in Bioinformatics at the Medical School of A.U.Th. She worked as Research Engineer at the Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Unit of the Paris Institute of Translational Neurosciences (Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital). Currently, she is adjunct lecturer at the Lab. of Biological Chemistry and she teaches Bioinformatics at the School of Pharmacy, both at A.U.Th. Her research interests are in the fields of computational genomics and epigenomics and next-generation sequencing data analysis. She is co-author of 20 journal papers and 35 articles published in book series and conference proceedings.
